What sets Shani apart is how she works: every tattoo begins as a sketch created live, together with the client, using Photoshop. It's not about handing over a pre-made design — it's about sitting down, going back and forth, and building something side by side until you both land on the one sketch you fall in love with. That shared process is where the real connection happens, and from there, it goes straight onto the skin the same day.
There's no clock running on the creative part. No rushing to "produce" a tattoo — just space to create, with room to relax, and enjoy the process from start to finish.
It's not about what she tattoos, but the style it's rendered in. Shani gravitates toward gentle shading, volume, and depth — semi-realistic pieces that read more like a drawing on skin than a traditional tattoo.
Shani started tattooing in 2017 in Tel Aviv, later moving to Berlin and guesting through prestige studios across Europe. After falling for New York and finding her place at Atelier Eva, she stopped touring.
Beyond the studio, Shani has a rich background in fine art. Her illustrative work — best known for blending human and animal forms — has shown in New York galleries including Philippe Labaune Gallery in Chelsea and Dacia Gallery in the East Village, and she continues to exhibit and sell original pieces and prints internationally. She's equally drawn to the social side of art-making, having spent years organizing and hosting events that brought people together around art and culture of all kinds.
